You can walk through the woods to the restaurant at the top and enjoy views looking to the West, but make sure the weather is good enough to justify the energy expended in the climb. You can get a decent view looking westwards at the...More

After reading some reviews I was a bit afraid to take this walk. Nothing of the sort, I was still walking with a Cain and thought this an easy walk and well worth it. If you use the stairs the are easy and have good...More

The location is in the city center. There are two ways to start to step up. First through the hundred stairs, and 2nd through a small uphill road. I chose the small road which I though need less effort compare to stairs. There were some...More

A steep walk will take you to the top for some great views of the city, very quiet place a bit off the regular tourist trail many day trippers will give it a miss as it takes about 45 minutes to get to the top

This walk might be steep in the beginning but is absolutely worth it. You get wonderful views back over the city of Salzburg. Even my children (8 and 10) loved it. We went all over the mountain and went down on the other side. Lovely!

The location is so close to the city centre and yet elevated from the ground to offer a stunning view of the city. Magnificent view of the nearby scenery.
