Amazing what those monks did many year back, we took a tour of that incredible location and saw more interesting religious sculptures inside the Abbey

This is a modest church with a nice steeple and cloister between old town and the Mur River. Church shows the mass schedule as follows: Sunday: 6:30, 9:30, 11:30 and 20:00; Weekdays : 6:30 ( Jakobi Chapel ) 9:00, 16:00.

Originally the church was founded in 1239. It is on a very important strategic point, in the 17. century instead of the normal tower, they built a guard tower. The church itself is not very exiting, but the cloister is very nice. If you are...More

Heavily rebuilt and not very interesting. The guidebooks refer to the cloister, which is a small courtyard of modest interest.

All the churches were open at least so one could see the main alter through a glass door. But most of them were open so you could see the Holy crib, which was nicely displayed in all of the churches we visited in the center....More
