The visit to the skywalk requires acending with a cable car, which also serves to visit the salt mines. The views are nices.

hi.. we’ve been in Hallstatt last weekend.. and went up sat afternoon.. just 5 minutes to wait, good train .. and an amazing view.. ok, lots of tourists.. some crazy groups, but the view is outstanding.. we will come back

Part of our Salt mine tour, we went up using the funicular and was greeted with an amazing view combination of mountains and lake! Come early to avoid the place crowded with groups

If you are in good shape and you don't mind a little hike,you can walk up to Skywalk and save some money instead of going with cable car. You will appreciate the view even more. The start of hiking trail is right next to cable...More

From Hallstatt you can get a cable car up the mountain to the skywalk. It is an amazing view on a clear day!

Hi we flew into Vienna from Scotland and got the obb train which is in the airport to aftang then changed to another train to Halstatt. The train stops at the ferry port which takes you to Halstatt. Train price was around... More

This is a winter time so there is snow and windy and foggy. i went there in summer that why i want to go there in winter.
