It happens once a day at the palace in the Old Town part of Monaco. They don't take it too seriously. It was raining earlier and they said that they would skip the ceremony if it was still raining. Luckily for us, the sun came...More

Changing of the guard happens once a day in front of the palace in the Old Town part of Monaco. Takes less than 10 minutes. From the looks of it, you would like the guard changeover would be for a major kingdom. Fun to do...More

The performance put on by the Palace guards is a spectacle well worth seeing. Recommended if visiting Monaco.

Oh yes, it was every...More

I accidentally run into the guard show/change at 12 pm, but the crowd was so big, I barely could see anything, and I had to go a big round around them to be able to get into the ticket counter of the price's palace.

We have seen better ceremonies of changing of the guards. I have yet to visit Buckingham Palace but have seen the one in Arlington and that was spectacular. This was ok but certainly not on the same scale. We did not plan to visit or...More
