Donkey farm and cafe are at a beautiful location. The village isn't too far away and the drinks and entry are at a reasonable cost.
You're able to feed the donkeys, however there is the odd donkey shackled (water close by) hopefully they are well looked after.
Lovely day trip and as mentioned the cafe area after is amazing!

This is a beautiful village, there is a winery but the best thing I enjoyed was Trakkos Donkey Farm, it was lovely feeding the Donkeys and being in a wheelchair the owner and his friend came out when they saw us pull up and they helped get my wheelchair out of the car and pushed me around the farm. Afterwards we sat having coffee and Donkey milk yes Donkey milk it is just like skimmed milk but I’m not a milk drinker my friend loved it. The views are spectacular as you will see from the photos and only 2Euro entry. You can buy homemade honey gifts fruit and yes you guessed it Donkey milk. Kids would love this place so did us big kids. Well recommended.

Wow, what they've done in restoring this traditional wine making village is wonderful. Agro tourism at its best. I'd encourage anyone who wants to learn about Cypriot culture to visit.

A new café in Kathikas - 'Kathikas Square', open just 6 weeks is well worth a visit for a cooling drink, piece of cake or a snack.I visited today for the first time with a friend and we will certainly be back. Very relaxed, courteous, unobtrusive service. A welcome addition to the range of eating places which offers something different.
Owned by the same people who have the Farm Yard Taverna, also in the village.

Kathikas is worth a visit. It has a lovely square and a laid-back vibe. There are several restaurants in the village and is part of the wine trail.

This is a beautiful village no doubt about that but nothing is open on a Wednesday. We were very disappointed as it had been highly recommended.

I thought this little village would be quiet and no so touristy, but this is not so!.. yes it is a typical cypriot village and pretty but I was suprised to see so many tourists, we wanted to experience a typical Cypriot village and its lifestyle and cuisine but this was not so.
There are a number of popular restaurants in the village and as such it is busy, when compared to Polis, the proximity of the restaurants are much closer together and the day we were there the amount of tourists were high. So much we decided not to stay and left!

This is a lovely little village to stay in, there are plenty of Tavernas to visit and lots close by in Polis/Latchi & Coral Bay. A lot of work has been completed and some is still in progress to make a visit more pleasurable. The locals are quite friendly but you have to make the effort as well. The nearest mini market is about 10 mins drive towards Strompi. All in all a very pleasurable village
