This a quiet calm location, we walked from the main road near Tempo, but you can drive there, it has been restored and is well maintained , the nearby coastline is being spoilt with a hotel building work

The history of theese men can be read about on this building, both miraculous and soothing. Take off shoes when entering mosque and preferably wash yourself.

If you interested in Cyprus history you need to visit that place. On the coast in real beutifull scenery you will find small turbesi/mosque. H. Omer was commander of Muslim Arab fleet in VII. Century. During battle against Bisant Army Omet and his 6 soldiers...More

Location is difficult to find unless you see the signage on the main road. My main landmark for the place Tempa Extra their version of Tesco. History towards the place is vague, though there is more than one burial site the other being a temporary...More

Very interesting. Information in English as well as Turkish. Well kept with toilet and hand washing facilities. Worth a visit.

I tracked this down because of the Durrell connections, as well as the official name, he calls it the Tomb of Seven Sleepers, and goes there several times to -er -meditate. Suggest you visit at sunset, they are not too fussy about closing time. No...More
