Quite grand building with the architecture typical to Luxembourg. You can visit inside and even view the changing of the guards. We preferred to admire the building from the chocolate and cake shop outside!

Very nice building, impressive architecture and historical value. It is very close to Place Guillaume and the Notre Dame Cathedral. You feel so normal, no impressive security measures, not too many guards (i saw none, in fact...but maybe because it was a rainy day...). To...More

Quite impressive but not too much - there were many visitors around the Palais - expected to see more guards...

If you have to see one thing in Luxembourg City you have to see the Grand Duces Palace. It s situated in the middle of the City and just next to the Casemates. Enjoy ;-)

Very beautiful building and impessive styling. You apparently can only go in durind certain times of the year, of which our trip was not one.

The castle itself has an amazingly ornate exterior. The facade and architecture in general are very impressive. Since it is a working parliament building, we were not allowed to go inside and view the interior.

We were only able to walk by the palace for two reasons. First, the Grand Duke was in residence and construction was going on in front of the palace. It was still an experience to walk by and see it.

A wonderful place to visit even if just to watch the guards parade and protect the building. Worth walking round to admire the grandeur of the building which I believe is still active as a main residence. Also next to a fabulous cake shop!

We took pictures and visited the palace from the outside...didn't go in and not sure if there were tours or not actually. It was a chilly and rainy day when we were there and we popped into The Chocolate House across the street for hot...More

As it is than already May and the tourist seasons started, I am sure it will be open for the routine visits. It is a small palace, but it looks great! Enjoy this small but beautiful capital city and don't forget the posh... More
