Tucked away behind a fairly nondescript entrance, this is a brilliant and expansive museum, with very friendly and helpful staff, that is well worth a visit. It’s crammed with interesting exhibits, covering a wide range of subjects, and even has a chute to slide down...More

This is a great museum but unfortunately almost nothing is in English, which made it less interesting for my 14-year old than I had hoped.

If you want to know all about the earth and its nature, animals as well as want to find out more about the first Luxemburger then this is your museum. It is reasonably interactive with a lot of thing to open and discover albeit most...More

We loved the whole exhibition including the temporary cat one. Lots of interactive items to keep the interest of children. The only negative is that they do not have any texts in English.

I found the exhibition to be quite big and interesting, it has some interactive features as well. The temporary cat exhibition is great!

Firstly, I must say that for a small plot, the museum is lovely! This review is on the whole, poor, because of the behaviour of some of the staff members. We went to the natural history museum and I was with friends and my two...More

A lot of taxidermy. Lions coexist with gorillas and coyotes. But they currently have a great cat exhibit, and that made it an enjoyable visit for me. I prefer my cats alive, but it's still a nice temporary exhibit.

Note that we didn't actually enter the museum. Our only experience was with the grumpy man on the front desk who wouldn't let us in without a paper version of the Luxembourg Card (1 day pass). We had been into two other museums using this...More
