Proudly standing in from of the building it's Queen's Victoria statue. Not sure you can visit the library, but it is nice to have a drink on one of the terraces in from of it.

Close to the St John's Co-Cathedral, the National Library of Malta has a beautiful collection of old volumes. You leave your ID at the front desk and then enjoy the silence in the upstairs reading room. Free!

Access to resources is limited and the staff need to be more aware of what is available for research. Can be a great place to get some information about Malta in older times

The library offered an interesting collection of material in observance of the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution and the connections to Maltese nobility and politics.

Amazingly beautiful Neoclassical building located in the pretty Republic Square, which houses the archives of the Order of St. John. In front of it, stands a statue of Queen Victoria and some open-air restaurants.
