The Museum of Water is still in its stunning location. You must buy a ticket and get the entrance code at either the Volcano Museum or Norwegian House. You can buy one ticket for all three museums at a lower price for each individually. Seeing...More

So simple, yet so quirky and clever at the same time. Just columns of glass filled with water from glaciers in different eras, all juxtaposed like liquid sculptures in an art-deco house. You have to see this to realize the genius of the creator, who...More

Unlike the last reviewer mentioned the house of water is still open at the original location. Visitors purchase tickets at Norwegian house or Volcano museum and punch in a number to get entry to the house. Great exhibit and awesome views!

When we visited in July of 2018, we learned that the library has been moved to another building in town. The beautiful building on the hill is now a private home. We did not visit the new library.

We bought a multi-site pass to the Volcano Museum and the Water Library. Both were very interesting.

A must visit for those who know Roni Horn's work - approach with the mindset that this is a place of contemplation much like the Rothko Chapel. Allow your mind and metabolism to slow down and acclimate to the space: you are not at home;...More

This place is a thoughtful, beautiful space. Roni Horn is so talented and in this space you can take time to sit and take it all in.

This library is no ordinary library. It's contains water collection from 24 different glaciers exhibited in 24 columns of glass filled with water - created by artist Roni Horn. It's absolutely serine to experience and the building containing the collection is placed on the highest...More

I wasn't totally sure what to expect, but it's a place with columns of water from different glaciers and what not. Hence the name...library of water. There is literally nothing else interesting there. Skip it.
