My cousins and I did a walking tour with Eric, and he did a great job telling us the history of Reykjavik and Iceland. I really enjoyed his tour, and I highly recommend CityWalk.

Wow! There is so much information about the city that I never could’ve figured out on my own. Sara did an excellent job telling us about the history (she is a history teacher!) and giving us Americans insight on Icelandic culture and politics. I could...More

We just got finished with our tour guide Sara and she led us all around the city center to the historical sites of the original city of Reykjavík. She answered all of our questions, even some of them that might have thrown another tour guide...More

We really enjoyed our short walk with Disa. A lot of information but with a twist and humour. I recommend it if you want to have a first glimpse at Reykjavik and its history. Thank you Disa!

We just had a wonderful walking tour with Disa. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and very engaging. One of the best walking tours we’ve been on. It is a donation-based tour, so we gave $20 USD per person.

Our tourguide Thomas knew a lot of facts about iceland and reykjavik and showed us all the good places. He gave great tips about our further visit in reykjavik and told his story with a lot of humor. Absolutely recommended!

Sara was great. Unlike the typical guided tour, Sara's was informative without being a dry recitation of dates, facts, and Icelandic history. The insertion of anecdotes, personal experiences, and human foibles made for an enriching walk through Reykjavik. Perhaps the best indication of Sara's knack...More

Nanna was an excellent guide and really helped us get the lay of the land when we first arrived in the capital. Tour is free, but tips encouraged as an appreciation. Absolutely worth your time! Book ahead to ensure your spot.

When we did the tour at 12:00 it had about 20 people on it plus the guide Not sure what maximum would be but guess if you tried to book a place on line it would tell you the tour was full if they have a maximum number
