This was a 5 day bespoke trip with 'Level 1 walking', led by Greta Gudjonsdottir, booked from the UK. It took in the Golden Circle, including Geysir, the Althing historic site and waterfalls, and took us on to the Skaftafell area, glaciers, glacial pools, lava...More

Well going through a lava cave is pretty dang cool. Unsurprisingly dark, but still extremely beautiful and fun. We had Harald as our tour guide and he was hilarious as well as very informative about what exactly you're looking at down there. I would suggest...More

To be honest, we ended up booking with this company because they weren’t sold out like the other ones we were looking out. At first, that made me nervous thinking why this company wasn’t sold out, but the reviews were great so we went for...More

Hello and thank you for the question. If you have the time, I recommend stopping in Skaftafell. The surroundings are stunning and the area is part of Vatnajökull National Park (Vatnajökulsþjóðgarður).
