Can't actually get in but you can walk around the grounds and visit the church on the grounds. We've been inside for a Christmas Party for the children of diplomats. Very pretty. What is hard to believe is that there is so little security. Icelanders...More

We did not take the paid tour, and instead wandered around outdoors and visited the church next door to the President's residence. That church has some interesting stained glass windows. The setting, far from the heart of downtown, is quite nice and offers great views.

This is the residence of the Icelandic President. We actually got to see him in the distance near the house with his children. The house is in a beautiful setting.

The is the President's residence just outside of Reykjavik. It's a white building with a church nearby. We visited for 10 minutes in a city tour, which was enough time-wise. You can only view the front of the house for security reasons.
