It is a presidential house and it is pretty cool that you can get so close to it. Surrounding are is beautiful and very calming.

We did not take the paid tour, and instead wandered around outdoors and visited the church next door to the President's residence. That church has some interesting stained glass windows. The setting, far from the heart of downtown, is quite nice and offers great views.

This is the residence of the Icelandic President. We actually got to see him in the distance near the house with his children. The house is in a beautiful setting.

The is the President's residence just outside of Reykjavik. It's a white building with a church nearby. We visited for 10 minutes in a city tour, which was enough time-wise. You can only view the front of the house for security reasons.

This is a pretty building located on a peninsular of Reykjavik. It is a church that is open to the public. However, it didn’t look very welcoming as the doors were shut and there were signs notifying the public where they could and couldn’t go....More

We stopped here and walked around the grounds. We did not tour the inside of anything other than the church. It is nice to see where Iceland's president lives but there is nothing extremely exciting about the landscape. While visiting, a group of people came...More

This is an interesting site as it is the home of Iceland's president. It is simple, but still worth the trip. The grounds are beautifully maintained and it is surely a peaceful place. The church, which is on the property belongs to the people. Security...More
