Bought a 24 hour ticket for the Hop on/Hop off bus through our cruise. Good way to see the city. Fare is around $36 US and kids 11 and under are free. Takes about 1 hour to do entire tour if you don't get off....More

This is the worst hop-on, hop-off tour I have done. Time schedules are not kept, some stops do not have bus houses (and we are soaked through after waiting over 45 minutes for a bus), the hours are short, and it is extremely expensive. We...More

City Sightseeing Reykjavík With a 24 H valid ticket it was easy to move around the city. The tour starts at Harpa and it took about an hour. It was a windy rainy day for the most part so it was nice to find shelter...More

Tour is k my 1 hour and the recorded audio has a lot of down time. If you’re looking for a way to see the city, quickly, worth a try but expensive for afar you get.

First, after printing the voucher, we had to claim it at Harpa Concert Hall. When we arrived there, there’s no signage where to claim. (In the voucher it just say Harpa Hall, FYI, Harpa hall is too big) Second, the bus doesn’t follow time. Suppose...More

I would say “yes” to recommend Hop-on-hop-off for the tourists. It’s is far from perfect, but it’s the only way to have a ride around the town. The bus have stops at major attractions so you could visit most of them in a day. I...More

I should have read the previous reviews but we have used this mode of traveling in many other cities with my elderly mother and it usually provides a good overview of the city and is a good tour value. We just wasted 100 dollars. Pamphlet...More

Find some other way to see the city. Hop On Hop Off in Reykjavik is not a good choice. They don't use sufficient buses to provide timely service. You spend all day waiting. They say it's 20 minutes between buses. It's more like 45 minutes....More

You could do both ways. The bus is extremely expensive-around $5per ride. The bus system is very complicated and even people who work at the hotels cannot explain it well. Make shure you know exactly how to use it, before... More
