This was our best excursion in Icealnd. Best weather would be June, I think. Trip is only once a week so book ahead. Absolutely breathtaking. Best landscape view in the world....really.....breathtaking!

We did a guided 14km one-day hike and were blown away. In early to mid August the fields and mountain sides were covered in wild flowers, the arctic foxes appeared several times, the views were phenomenal (we lucked out with glorious sun and 60 degrees)....More

HI, You need more than one day, but you can always start walking and enjoye the magnificent views and see what you can achieve in a couple of hours and return to camp if not.
