The Motorcycle Museum is a a hidden gem that any motorcycle fan would appreciate. The owners are very passionate and dedicated. Well worth the stop.

Over from Australia. Ride a 2017 Triumph Bonneville 1200. Had a Daytona 500 in my youth. Was keen to check out the Triumph Hurricane and the better half was looking forward to a coffee, but you were closed!!! Maybe next time.

This museum has an exceptional collection of English motorcycles from the '30s on to the late '90s. The outstanding piece is an American 1918 Excelsor which was superbly restored by an Icelandic machinist.

Every biker must stop by and have a look. The exhibit is coming along slowly but surely and what is there already is well worth seeing. The guidance is personal and enthusiastic.

If you're in Akureyri, drop into this exhibition, whether you like bikes or not! It's got lots of history, well documented bikes, clearly run by passionate people.
