I stopped by this food hall market during a visit in Turku. It was very beautiful on the outside and has lots of shops / restaurant options. I was able to get a piece of princess cake from a bakery there! Great place to dine...More

Nice old building in the very middle of the town of Turku! Nowadays several and very popular restaurants, which have taken room from the merchants...Good or bad, don`t know...However nice small shops, mostly with all kinds of food, also ethnic specialty shops.

Still a thriving retail market hall but with bijou eateries. Eat at the bar, in an old train carriage or just seated. International foods available along with the real Finnish stuff. Meal or snack...well worth a visit!

The market has an impressive selection of food and souvenirs. If you are a bit hungry, do not mind a cup of coffee with a fancy cupcake or pastry, want to buy national deli - this is the place for you.

The traditional market hall always has its own special atmosphere. From there you can also buy some Finnish and local delicacies. The Turku Market Hall is also a good place to stop for lunch or coffee.

I had a wander round this traditional market while visiting Turku, and I loved it. It's an old wooden, traditional building, and it offers every food stall you could possibly imagine. Great for a wander and to sample some foods!

There are many eateries in this place but there is simply not enough room to sit an enjoy the food, unless you agree to be crammed in some corner. Prices on the high end. No toilets (or they are very well hidden and difficult to spot)....More

Perfect lunch at Herkkunuotta soup counter, adjacent to their fresh fish shop. Simple menu, 2 different, hearty, slurpable, delicious salmon/seafood/crayfish soups. Worth the (short) wait for a free stool, clearly a popular spot, people come and go quickly. Efficient service with a smile. Price for...More
