At the moment, there is a risk that the Media Museum is closed. (News 09/11/2014 http://yle.fi/uutiset/tampereen_saastosuunnitelmat_rupriikki_kiinni_tr1sta_luovutaan/7466024) This should be more than a shame, because the museum is one of the city's most interesting.

Situated in the old factory premises of Tampella Works by the rapids of Tammer. Traditional old urban Finnish heavy industry site fully restored. Nice walking around the facility.
