If you arrival in Lahti by train, and walking through the Rautatienkatu to center,then you will see it on your left hand side,during summer time,the city hall has few time open to public so you can go inside to visit. The new year fireword usually...More

Its size is impressive, considering that it was built in the beginning of the 20th century while Lahti was no bigger than a village. Although the use of the building has changed a lot over time, it's architecture has not been damaged.

Took my family here basically because it's one of he oldest buildings in Lahti and the view is quite nice. Probably wouldn't go back unless I was taking a visitor.

Lahti Town Hall was designed in 1911 by Finnish architect Eliel Saarinen. The beautiful architecture from red brick. The city government office.
