A wonderful museum, quite a surprise actually. Lots of different exhibitions and gorgeous old motor boats and lots of other stuff. A must if in Kotka!

Good place if you are interesting of finland maretime history. There is allso other variable historic exhibitions. In same building there is lunch restaurant "Laakonki"

In fact we visited he 2 times as one was not enough. Old Icebreaker Tarmo, had a lunch at cafe/restaurang, kids played in jumpy area, exhibitions...

If you want to learn more about Kotka area as well as Finnland and the sea, then this is the right place to go. Very well organized, museum style up to date, children friendly.

Interesting museum and exhibitions, great architecture. Restaurant Laakonki (lunch buffet) situated at the same building. Lots of parking space.
