First you may find this building extremely simple but that's exactly how it feels so different from historical buildings with artistic style. The best example of Alvar Aalto architecture and philosophy!

The building looks unique from both inside and out. It is mainly a concert hall. Would been nice to attend a concert for sure.

I went to run the Helsinki Half Marathon last year, and it started from there. Loved the place: new building, compact and modern design. I fell in love with this city, its architecture (both the old and the modern) and its people.

Beautiful famous architecture by Alvar Aalto. Beautiful both inside and out. Located just five mins walk from the main railway station. I was there for a seminar so had a good look at the premises, liked it a lot. Very Scandinavian, open and clear.
