Finished in 1969, rock walls supported by concrete beams and beautiful copper features. Excellent accoustics, great venue for concerts. A must see.

When in Helsinki you really need to make sure to visit this church. It is so unique and worth the visit here. It is free and a must see. It takes as long or as little as you want to visit.

Untypical protestant church absolutely worth visiting, situated from the walking distance of the city centre.

Strange location with great power in it! The pipe organ is amazing and really big! Maybe 3€ to visit it... is too much!

An impressive piece of engineering with a beautiful copper and glass roof. Beautiful copper details, impressive acoustic. Too bad there isn’t a visitor toilet.

Paid the 3 Euros and spent 20 minutes just sitting and appreciating the unusual building. Well worth a visit

The design is amazing esp the natural lighting. You can take photos when enjoying the beautiful view. It is around 20 min walk from the central station and it is easy to reach.

There is something totally appropriate in this simple yet incredibly complex structure, hewn out of rock, being a place of worship.

There is a fee to enter but for €3, it is worth every penny. Besides the architecture marvel, the acoustic inside is really good too.

Sorry Vicki, I am not sure. I think it is likely to be open on December 6th for Independence Day. We travelled to Finland in October when the tourist season was "supposed" to be over, and found many tours unavailable. We... More
