Hamina is a beatiful town in a midsummer. If you are visiting Hamina remeber to see cherry park and military buildings. Also if you are looking for restaurant, Kamu! Is a great choice!!

Hamina is a small city to begin with, and so is the old town. It is a good place to have a stroll. No unique characteristics though except the famous circular city plan.

This is an old town in Russian style. Most of the buildings are in traditional Russian military style. It looks like a really tiny version of St. Petersburg.

Hamina is famous by it's old town bastions situated in the city center. Good activity to cisit in sunny summer day. In this case : very good!!!

The Hamina old city is rather small as well as the complete Hamina city center. It is what you expect and this is just not my type of activity or sight I am looking for. Nevertheless, good for walking through once.

The city has very unique circle streets and nice history. I recommend going to tourist information to het "walk in Hamina" map and walk the route. Museums are nice, and cafes hard to choose from! On a nice weather seaside is must!
