Overview
More
WellnessLounge is wellness studio, which is located in the center of town. We respect the soft values of exercises, such as Flow- and YinYoga , WallTraining / WallYoga and globally known LesMills BodyBalance.  Each class is included relaxation. Phones are left in silent mode and stress outside the doors. After the yoga class, clients can sit down to the wooden chairs and enjoy the herbal tea, which is always available to the clients. We have infrared lamps to help participants to relax more in our classes. Participants can feel gently heat on the skin and in the muscles, despites of the arctic climate outside the doors. Infrared lamps don´t lift the breathing air, so the air  is still very fresh and easy to breath. Our facilities contains also opportunity to take a break in classical massage, HotStone massage or reflexotherapy. Silence is peoples one of the main sources of well-being, but too often one of the least reached in our daily lives, because the noise pollution is everywhere. At the heart of the cities we rarely have opportunity to take a break away from the rush and stress factors. Silence and body awareness / listening is one of the best ways to reinstating the body in a stressful society. Luxury does not necessarily mean only shine and sparkle , it means the time for ourselves. WellnessLounge offers luxury for the body and the senses. WellnessLounge combines luxury cottage, peace and sense of yoga. Our studio is been built by using wood to remind luxury cottage where the customers can come to have respite from a busy day. Arctic hill landscapes in the windows and lobbys wooden chairs will make WellnessLounge a soothing arctic oasis in the center of the city. Classes can be booked online on WellnessLoungen's website or by contacting to the reception. You may also come as a drop in principle, if there is a space in the class. For more details, do not hesitate to call us. We also have the YogaWall and classes are called WallTraining. These classes is made with in small groups (max 6 persons / class).  This form of exercise is done literally on the wall. For this method has been developed a specific wall and all classes are based on the Yoga, Pilates and physiotherapy.  Training developes the trunk strength and control, but it also provides support to the joints of the body and better alignment. Wall enables for example the well-being of the spine between the vertebrae, reducing the pressure on the intervertebral discs. There is a saying that ” we are just as old as our spine is”. A healthy spine promotes a healthy nervous system. WallTraining classes are based on by BKS Iyengar method by using the form of ropes attached to wall hooks ,to assist people in various yoga poses. Current version of the Yoga Wall has been developed by Kedric Wolfe in the 1980s. By using ropes and straps, we will assist the joints to find an proper alignment. The idea is also that if we struggle to achieve proper physical alignment, our mind is less able to relax. In wall practice, the body knowledge will be concretised by using belt and straps to give a immediate feedback from the body. Training may make easier the understanding of the movements also on the yogamat. In fact, I personally combine to WallTraining yoga, Pilates, strength training and physiotherapy principles. Basically I call this training method by name WallTraining, and the reason for that, is that way I can develop a form of exercise with several points of view. My idea is strongly based on the anatomy, but I think that one of main influence to my method is on the in Chinese medicine with the meridians as well as muscle membrane chains from Westerner medicine. WallTraining can be very therapeutic and restorative, but we can also practice on the wall to support different type of exercises. Also wall can give a great rehabilitative  view by giving us feedback from our body weakness, muscle tensions or imbalance. WallTraining might effect to our deep muscles and that way can protect our joints and spine. A huge mount of back problems might be influenced from week, but also tight muscles around the spine. That will costs lack of oxygen in soft tissue. Back problems might also be purely psychosomatic so the tension of the muscles causes also tension in our mind (and the other way around). During the practice our coal is to find and promote flexibility and relaxation as well as strength at the same time. Every class is included relaxation, so we can create little rest for our day and that way we can recover better from daily stress.  WallTraining is extremely good counterbalance for office worker as well as physical worker. After the class we can feel more length in our spine, more flexibility in muscles and also more relaxed.
