An urban photographer's dream
Jul 2021
I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed just walking around the center of Norrköping! The center is packed with beautiful architecture set against the artificial waterfalls which are formed from the differing levels of the Motala River. My favourite spots were Holmentornet (best viewed from the east in the morning) and the view of the Museum of Work from Bergsbron in the afternoon/evening. If you enjoy urban photography, then definitely check this place out!

Old industrial area in the middle of town
Feb 2021
There has earlier been a lot of industry e.g. textile in the middle of town and now most of these old buildings are used for other purposes including the university. Power stations and dams with rapids are there to be seen. Bridges and board walks will help you get around.

Beautiful stream, beautiful industrial buildings
Jun 2020
A beautiful stream in the middle of the city, surrounded by a re-imagined industrial landscape in "The Liverpool of Sweden".

Worth a walk
Sep 2019
Really nice walk around the area. It is within walking distance to the city centre and there are lots of nice spots. It is worth spending the time to walk all the way around.

Not so impressed, when i was a kid this was off limits, it was all corporate grounds so we had to sneak inside..

Today i think that they could have don so much more with less fonds,,

If you are an absolute insider this is great, otherwise.

Unique preserved industrial landscape
May 2019 • Couples
To walk between tall buildings with the occasional sight and continuous sound of water is just one of the joys of old Norrköping. Interesting new build mingling amongst the old with good restaurants and museums to hand.

Industrial Revolution
May 2019 • Friends
Our friend took us to the Industrial Landscape, as we love history, and love exploring the history of whatever place we're visiting. As Norrkoping was famous for its textiles, we walked around the Industrial Landscape. It's great that these buildings still exist and haven't been torn down for the sake of modernisation. It's an area that is proud of its past and the workers that helped Norrkoping to thrive. Even if you don't go in any of the museums, it's a nice area to walk around.

The Industrial Landscape worth seeing
Mar 2019 • Business
The Industrial Landscape is located right in the center of Norrköping. It shows a lot about the history of Swedish industri and the location around the river/water is pictoresque.
