A most imposing building from the glorious centuries of this merchant town. The building lies in the heart of the old town and houses a very nice restaurant in the basement.

The City Hall stands on a nice square and if you like architecture then is worth a visit for photos. There is an unusual statue in the square and a large Christmas tree was erected in the square when we visited.

The Malmo City Hall is located in the cities main square, Stortorget. This is one of the better looking buildings in Malmo. The building was built in 1544. The building contains lots of historical art work and is a must for art lovers.

Surely worth a visit for one day from Copenhagen. The town hall is historical figures of Malmo with its baroque style. And with the main square around it.

We took the train over to Malmo Sweden when we were in Copenhagen. It is a beautiful city and not as crowded. Fountains everywhere.
