We just visited the castle from the outside, we walked all around the walls toward the sea. It's worth the visit, amazing landscape.

Attended with family. Was a wonderful 3 hours. As you enter you are greeted by soldiers. They are engaging and in no way appear bored with their roles. Once inside there is a mini village again occupied by people who are very pleasant and engaging....More

Train there from Copenhagen is a breeze... Get off train and walk down a waterway to the entrance. Spend 3 hours and do not pass up anything. If I only had 1 day in Denmark this is what I would do. See some of the...More

If you ever come to Copenhagen, then I recommend the following day trip. I caught public transport out to see both Kronborg Castle and Frederiksborg Palace and it was an awesome day. At Copenhagen Central Railway Station I purchased a 24 hour tourist, zone 1-99,...More

The outside is photogenic and the Pelli defenses are great to look at from the towers, but the inside is pretty sparse and the (free, wifi or Bluetooth) audio tour is similarly short. Good for kids— lots of open space and not much content to...More
