Overview
More
Kronborg Castle towers above a very narrow promontory between the coasts of Denmark and Sweden. The renaissance castle stands majestically with its spires, towers, columns, sandstone and copper roofs. Kronborg Castle is a magnificent renaissance castle and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. This year marks the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare. Kronborg Castle is marking this occasion by celebrating Shakespeare's immortal play Hamlet with a cocktail of theatrical adventure, drama and festivities in the magnificent halls of the castle.

This castle is very beautiful. It is the castle where Hamlet was inspired and you can go around with representations of it. There's a map for children so they can also enjoy discovering different parts of the passages of the Novel. Great place to go.

We joined the English tour (11am) with the guide who re-enacted the entire Hamlet story while casually touring the castle. The story-telling style made an interesting, old castle into an unforgettable way to envision life and the times there from centuries ago. The time flew...More

Authentic piece of Danish history. Fantastic place in which you will spend at least 2-3 hours. Great visit and interesting dive in place history starting from the dungeon to the uppee floor chambers and big ball room.
