Nice fountain in the city center. If you visit this in june, you might meet the graduate students bathing here, when they're touring after the graduation. They might have put in some disc soap, so the place is covered in foam. A good Aarhus tradition....More

This sculpture is of the folk ballad of Agnete and the Merman, which actually forms the basis for Matthew Arnold's 1849 poem ' The Forsaken Mermaid'. The sculpture is in El Greco style by Johannes Bjerg ( 1886-1955) near Aarhus Radhus (City Hall)

The fountain with Agnete and Havmanden (sireno) is located right next to the Town Hall where all the bussed come through. It is a tradition for all the students when they graduate to go for a dip in the fountain.

Right by our best western hotel the kids loved mucking around with the fountain. It's clean and was a quick detour before continuing on.
