South East Balkans 11-Day Tour through Egnatia Route

Europe Explorer Grand Tour “Egnatia Route” is the best possibility for travelers looking for a special experience of South East Balkans’ culture, nature, history, traditions, multi-ethnicity, multi-religion, etc. It is a tailor made program trying to optimize all “must see'' places for Albania, North Macedonia, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria and Kosova. This route became famous in Roman Empire time and was called ‘Via Egnatia’. Where part of ancient bridges and roads can be still visited among the breathtaking nature and rich heritage form past millennials.<br>Important Places to be Visited: Tirana, Elbasan, Struge, Ohrid, Bitola, Thessaloniki, Kavala, Alexandroupoli, Tekirdağ, Istanbul, Edirne, Plovdiv, Sofia, Skopje, Prizren, Kukes, and Rubik.

This is a must for any traveller in the area! You get all the info in the center but the greatest experience comes when you visit the Evros Delta: a vast -and pretty much untouched- area formed by river Evros, inhabited by hundreds of unique bird species - lots of them cannot be found anywhere else in Europe. Try the boat ride too!

A very large delta, where if you have a little bit of luck, you'll see flamingo birds. I'll recommend it for nature lovers who wants to spend time in perfect quiet. My advise is to have bicycles, because you are not allowed to enter with car in the wild.

Well organized tour, by car and then by boat, of the estuary of the river Evros. It is preceded by a short video presentation at the center. The guide was a professional. Very kind. The people at the center love their work.

I had often seen documentaries on TV but the real thing is stunning ! Nature at its beauty with thousands of birds amongst which wild geese, flamingos etc. Our driver had a great sense of humour and the boat ride was incredible !
