We visited the museum on March with my daughter. The price for the entrance was only 1 euro and a soldier had the kidness to guide us to the exhibition. We learn a lot about the Greek Revolution and its heroe general Kolokotronis.

Worth visiting the museum as it has the authentic agreement for the fist syntagma of Greece which took place in Astros and the original prosopography of Theodoros kolokotronis which was actually made as he was dead!You can recognize the authentic signatures or famous heroes of...More

If you stay in Tripoli, take time to visit the war museum. It is in the city centre and is a perfect illustration of the central role a Tripoli played during the war of independence. The photographic evidence about WW2 is particularly moving
