A place where history is revived in full length as everything shown is well preserved- you need to have a guide though! or at least be fully prepared beforehand- you need to do your homework in advance

In the museum you can learn the History of Modern Greece, from 1821-1974. This museum must be visited from every history lover. I highly recommend it.

An interesting museum that didn't know existed in Thessaloniki. It is nice but could be a little more interesting by being a little more organised and with more information. Still is a nice place to visit

If you're into military history, this is the place for you. I loved the paintings and the dioramas that depict the Greek Army's victories over the Turks and Italians over the last several hundred years. The display of old weaponry and vehicles is also fascinating.

Fabulous way to spend a while. Not very large but packed with very interesting historical pieces from primarily WWII. Only 4 Euros entry is a worthy price to pay.
