Full of mystery and a lot of history but a little crowded. I think more pedestrian streets would be useful. An imposing structure that can not leave you indifferent. f you get to Kavala you can not miss watching this city monument.

Aqueducts built in ancient Kavala to meet the water needs of the city. It was originally designed and built by the Romans, a work of art developed during the Ottoman era. It is considered to be Kavala's most valuable historical work.

I have always been impressed seeing old roman landmarks. And the Aqueduct makes no exception. Well preserved and in immediate proximity to the central streets. Must see when in Kavala!

The Aqueduct is fascinating, amazing it has survived! It is huge and dominates your arrival at the town. Well worth a visit and a photograph or two!

The Aqueduct of Kavala is a beautiful historical symbol in the city center. It is well preserved and rises majestically, visible best from the fortress on the hill.
