We were not expecting much here and visited only because we had a combined ticket. Entrance is normally €4. It contained many Byzantine art (religious paintings of saints) dating back to the 16th century. The colours were very vivid but we were not sure they...More

We paid 4 euros each to enter at 2:15pm. At 2:40pm we were told that they were closing. This didn't give us enough time to look and photographs the ikons properly. It is a tiny church and not worth the entrance fee.

If you like old byzantine pictures its OK. The church decoration is very interesting but overall there is nothing breath-taking here! Ticket 4euros, quite expensive for what is hosted in the museum.

For family reasons, I had the opportunity to visit in Corfu down only one museum. I chose to visit Antivouniotissa Museum. Although I do not really think about desacralized churches, it did not disturb me here. The church itself is extremely beautiful. Although exhibits are...More

Very small museum, with a ticket that is not properly cheap (4€). If you like icons, than that’s a place for you, otherwise there are many other places that can be visited instead. The church inside is beautiful.

This church has been converted into a museum and houses post-Byzantine religious art from the Cretan and early Heptanese schools of Corfu. The church was dedicated to the holy mother of God Antivouniotissa. So there are two reasons for visiting 1 ‘the church’ and 2...More

This particular museum is not yet an ordinary museum with many exhibits. It has few exhibits, but absolutely touching, creepy and clearly beautiful. The only one I will say to help you out and frustrate you at the same time is that inside the walls,...More

Needed a couple of attempts to visit because there were some problems with the electricity. Fantastic gallery of icons, not that old, but of high quality. Nice small church with a balcony inside. One of these tucked away gems in Old Corfu Town.

Slightly restrictive opening hours and it took a while to find but so glad we persevered. These are extremely beautiful works of art in a 15th century Heptanesian basilica overlooking the harbour in Corfu town. We would have welcomed more information but there was a...More
