It's a very pebbly beach with strong waves - pretty from above but for a visit you're better off driving elsewhere!

Just look at it! Went for a short visit a couple of days ago, nice and quiet this time of year but still beautiful - didn’t have any problems parking right on the beach

Myrthos Beach is absolutely beautiful. The colours of the sea are simply stunning! The beach has small pebbles so do protect your feet!

Amazing beach with wow factor location. Azure blue sea and golden beach. Stony with sand. Steep gradient once in water so quickly out if your depth. Appears sheltered from the tide on day of visit. Sunbeds and umbrellas available for a fee. Showers and toilets/changing...More

Fabulous view from above but the beach itself isn't as good as say Petani or Antisamos with very large pebbles and a steep drop into the water. Be warned, it's very easy to miss the turning especially coming from the north as the sign is...More

I'd go for assos. Prettiest place on the island, although may be pricey?

This year they only put sunbeds and umbrellas (and not many of them at all) on the beach at the end of July! I went the other day again, around 12 noon and there were no free chairs or umbrellas at all. There is NO beach bar... More
