A gem to be reached by boat or car, clear waters and sunbeds, a lovely tavern to eat lunch and the company of goats, what else?

We walked round to this beach and it was a pleasant walk with some really pretty houses on the way. The beach is pebbles and the water is clear. The taverna was a bit uninspiring to be honest and the food average. The sunbeds are...More

A short water taxi/quad bike ride, or 45 minute walk from Gialos and well worth the effort. Sunbeds rented out by the Metapontis taverna cost 3 Euro each. The Metapontis is a very traditional, family run taverna and does local food and drink at very...More

A bit of a trek to walk, but you can get there by boat taxi, or by scooter or car. There is a small taverna with a traditional Greek menu and a nice beach with plenty of shade. The sea is ideal for swimming and...More

An easy 30 minutes walk along the coast road or the well marked path at the back of Yialos (turn right in front of the cemetery) or by regular water taxi, will take you to this quiet spot. The beach has been improved since last...More

While staying at Emporio in Nimborio Bay this little beach was a five minute walk away . A water taxi takes you to the main port of Gialos if you want and the food at the taverna is very good .

Nimborio is very charming and absolutely worth a visit. The beach is nothing special for Greek standards. In the winter of 2017-2018, flooding in the mountains caused stones, gravel and mud to cover the beach. This means that it does not appear crystal blue as...More

Quaint little corner on the north side of Symi, 7€ Return with taxi boat, too hot to walk. Beach has a certain tranquil charm, although there are better beaches, Nanou for example. Very simple family owned taverna, no english spoken, small omelette, packet of instant...More

Just a 30-40 minutes walk or 10 minutes ride/drive/water taxi from Yialos is Nimborio, a charming bay/beach. There you will find the Metapontis taverna and sunbeded beach, as well as a few houses.

Honestly, I was underwhelmed by the beach. We stopped in Symi for the day. After hiking up to the highest point we walked to the beach for a relaxing dip. The small beach was covered with lounge chairs. The spot at the end of the...More

hello, there is a little taverna on one of the Nimborio bay (Taverna Metapontis it's called). I have no idea if they rent rooms. On the other bay there is a small bar, and thegirl prepares some food too (toasts, sandwiches... More
