A lovely stretch of sandy/pebbled beach and it is the most accessible of the beachs on the Island and is a short walk, 10 to 15 minutes from the Town (Port of Emporio). There are sunbeds and umbrellas available on the raised ground above the...More

My first swim this year was here. I too much like this beach, the sand like powder, chrystal clean turquoise water, gently sloping entrance to the sea, calm bay and wonderful views around. A good place for all categories of tourists - and for families...More

I enjoyed a swim here whilst on a day trip to Chalki. Nice beach and crystal blue waters. Well worth the strole from the Port to swim, sunbath and enjoy a beer here at the Taverna.

Pondamos beach is the closest to the village centre and is a 10 min walk from there. The beach is narrow but sandy with a raised area for sun beds . A taverna sits at the far end of the beach with toilets and 2...More

Pondamos Beach is our favourite beach. Sandy beach beautiful clear sea, no sudden drops making it an ideal and safe place for children of all ages, weed does gets washed onto the beach, this cleaned away.

The beach is of sand such thin that it seems mud; on it there were many seaweeds. As in title the real beach is really narrow and the umbrellas are in a behind terrace. There is a taverna, but we didn't experience it.
