This family run collection is housed in an old house and arranging into room settings to show off aspects of old Kalymnian life. Eirini does a fine job, in English, explaining why the exihibits are there, how life, engagement and marriage, for example, were handled...More
I am so glad we visited this little gem! Carefully selected household items of a traditional Kalymnian home accompanied by a beautiful storytelling by one of the family members. The gift shop offers local herbs, spices, essential oils, crafts, and cosmetic products made right here...More

thank you for your beautiful reviews ... we will continue the project in the best way!!
Very interesting with a lot of every day subjects of the last decades .Someone can see and know many things of every day life of this hard island . The lady who was giving the presentation (i think only in Greece) was very good .

A visit to the Folk Museum is a trip back in time, then you will understand the island's history much better, you will be received with genuine Kalymnian kindness and can leisurely enjoy the collection

Loved the way the owner had turned his house into a shrine to the past of the island. Full of information and fascinating artefacts. As we left the owner called us in to the back room and gave us a glass of what he called...More
