So glad we made the trip today. The grounds were amazing & full of History. The calls of the peacocks, majestically fanning their feathers for all to see was a beautiful sight. Even the odd large lizards, scurrying about to get in the shade was...More

We did not feel the 6 euro entrance fee was worth it. There isn't a great deal to see. The bell tower was covered in scaffolding. There was no way into the monastery. The ruins of the temple are not very impressive. There are no...More

The Church is built on an ancient Athena Temple from pre Christian era. Ruins of this temple are still visible on the site. The Monastery itself was built during the time of Templars. The Architecture is noticeably not Greek.

I think it is not worth to pay 6euro per person. But the cross you can visit for free. From there opens beautiful panorama. Also here you will find a lot of peacocks.
