Wonderful time on top of the volcano by enjoying an awesome view over the islands, the calderas and Aegean sea. Definitely a must along your Santorini itineraru

Firstly.. Wear decent walking shoes.. You are walking on lava rocks and pumice stones. Some people in flip flops or thin soled sandals.. Not a good idea. There is shelter at the first cone hole which is where I stopped. It's a hard climb and...More

The history of the volcano in the making of Santorini is interesting but is not on the 'must do' list. It isn't too hard to walk up but it is quite hot so take water. The view from the top is ok. We did see...More

Is very bad experience, if any one want to visit the Volcano do it only if you have time to spend. Is not so 'wow' like you think. Looks like more line a small island than a Volcano. The best way to visited is with...More

Unless we visit we can't imagine of its beauty. Island made of volcano. Wonderful place for family holidays

Visiting Santorini is great experience, but only for a day, I wouldn’t recommend a long stay holiday, even though it’s a pretty island but it’s not place for young kids

No- it is not. There are lots of steps with no access for disables. You might have to rent a car- however, their bus service is pretty good and cheap.

I agree with kcarters. It's not an easy climb at times and the footing is always unstable, so I'd advise that you leave it for another visit. The view is amazing but not worth the danger for you
