Took a boat trip out around the volcano. The boat was very basic and only cost 14 euros. There are other boats which were far superior where you got food and drink but you will pay a lot more. Captain and crew very friendly and...More

Beautiful place. Make sure to carry at least 2 litre water bottle with you. Lease don't miss out hot springs and lunch or sunset at the point.

This was part of a tour with 'Another Tour' company. The volcano itself is interesting and worth a visit. The walk up was nowhere near as difficult as I envisaged from the reviews here! As long as you have proper shoes on - so many...More

Be prepared to do a lot of walking, Get your comfy shoes and remembered that the volcano it’s active but is passively active so don’t get in your mind any pictures of seeing any type of lava but be aware that underneath it is active,...More

Did this as part of a boat excursion and it was the first stop. An arduous trek in the hot temperatures, walked for about 1 1/2 hours to complete trip to see an active volcano which just looked like black rocks and gravel

It is easy to get sucked into spending over 100 euros for these tours on a catamaran or semi private boat. Do not be fooled! It is not worth the added expense! There are much cheaper options for about 20-40 euros that take you to...More

This was a part of our boat tour. I have bad knees but I was determined to go up the volcano and OMG! I didn’t realize how far up it was. I got to the top but I did go further over like others did...More

We were told that this is an active volcano, but untrue as the volcano is currently dormant. It may blow again one day, but in this event there will be tremors for weeks before. Also told it would be 30 minutes to the top, but...More

No- it is not. There are lots of steps with no access for disables. You might have to rent a car- however, their bus service is pretty good and cheap.

I agree with kcarters. It's not an easy climb at times and the footing is always unstable, so I'd advise that you leave it for another visit. The view is amazing but not worth the danger for you
