Pristine beautiful beach. One of the best In the cycladic islands Go there in september or june. The sandy beach is long and very quite. However there are typical traditional greek taverns and restaurants along the costal road. You can miss it

Golden sand. The northern part of the beach is nude and secluded. Some ammenities at central part of beach, but great swimming, sunning and relaxation.

We are lucky enough to own a house in Agia Anna and can highly recommend Plaka at this time of the year as there are hardly any tourists and the beaches are near enough deserted but the weather is still 20/25 degrees most days .......More

Where the action is, pedalos and banana boats. If you want quiet then don't go there. Beach was nice and good for swimming

Plaka is a marvellous clean beach, with crystal turquoise water, white sand, and a variety of choices. You can stay at the busy area with beach bars/restaurants, you can stay at the surf/activities area or you can walk a bit further and swim at the...More

Really good beach, we visited in September so it was quieter than the rest. Really enjoyed the service from the local bars too.

I'm generally not a beach person, but Plaka won me over. We went far to the South end of it seeking peace and quiet and we found it. Lovely golden sand, very easy and pleasant waters (shallow and sandy floor), unbelievable views of Paros in...More

After a hard day on the archeological trail it was good to get into the water. It was so warm in invigorating just what I needed before a night on the town.

As previously stated there are quite a few naturist areas but on the whole everyone respects each other. Can be a bit daunting initially seeing naturists marching along the beach but you quickly become accustomed to avert... More

We were there approx 4 weeks and spent 3 days on the beach! Particularly recommend Petrinos restaurant at the far end. See my separate report 🙂
