Loved Mykonos, however all the walking was just too much in the heat and up hill most of the way. Loved the food, scenery and views - so I finally got over and forgot the pain.

My wife and I took a trip to the Greek Islands on a cruise ship. We contracted through iTravel Mykonos, and had Brian as our group guide. Even though it was a 16 person group he was extremely personal with everyone, and had years of experience and good information living in Mykonos for almost 50 years. He took us took a 500 year old bakery to eat the most delicious and amazing treats. After the tour was over he pointed us in the direction of the best restaurants depending on our favorite food choices. I would highly recommend Brian for any size tour. He made our trip very memorable.

I was lucky enough to be the only person on this trip and Anastasia made me feel very welcome and special. She clearly loves her job and why wouldn’t you. Mykonos is beautiful and this half day trip let’s you see all the island. As the season is pretty much over, this was a perfect way to spend a beautiful day in Mykonos.

Booked through Princess cruise, this tour included a guide through Delos and Mykonos. Saw the iconic windmills and a monastery. Lots of walking through the NARROW walkways of old Mykonos - interesting looking shops, but no stopping there. Lunch was included outside the monastery, and quick shopping at the tour's shop. Windy island kicked up my allergies.

We loved this tour! Our guide Brian was exceptional. His knowledge and passion about Mykonos blew us away. Very impressive tour and a small group size also. Highly recommend it!

We had to wait 30 min for the tour guide (whom apparently was waiting for another group of people join). Walking through the streets was a waste of time as we already did that the previous day on our own. The trip on the coach was okay, the coach was comfortable but the tour guide was an irritation. Converting from English to German all the time (and mostly spoke German anyway). Had an unnecessary stop for refreshments at a place not geared for the volume of people (as service was non existent). It was a very disappointing tour and I will not recommend it. Frankly, had I known, we would have taken a taxi and toured the island on our own.

Dear lizellehattingh, Thank you for the review. We would like to inform you that the tour you took was not with our company as we offer small group Shared Tours and in English only (no other language). We would kindly ask you to remove your review, if possible, and address it to the right Tour Company. Thank you and best regards from Mykonos.

First off, we really appreciate the company allowing us to join this group even though I had messed up the reservation and put in the wrong date. It was very kind of them to do so.
However, that is where my gratitude ended! The tour guide was an older gentleman who had a lot of information to provide, and he especially enjoyed talking about himself. He used phrases and swear words I did not appreciate. ie: he said "limp wristed LGBT" community, he enjoyed saying $hit and GD and was demeaning towards women. The tour could have been wonderful had he not been our guide. We visited several old churches for which he was very knowledgeable and had great stories. Still do not understand why he took us to a business that was under renovation! His tour of the town was good, but extremely drawn out. We lost interest because he rambled on so much about himself it became painful to listen to him. I saw an ornament in a store window and went in to purchase it. (I was not holding up the group) He told my husband "that's the problem with women, all they want to do is shop". He told my husband to go into the store and get me out.
He was demeaning to the bakery owners wife ("He is in charge, not his wife so do all business with him"). This was after he saw several of us talking to the lady behind the counter. She was obviously offended by our guide. But I do have to say, the items we purchased were wonderful!!!!
At one point he was explaining where dogs went to "do their business" … he said they used the path because it was long and they could see for long distances (just as the people who lived there when it was being invaded by pirates). He told us the dogs found "pot holes" and that is where they took a "$hit". He then proceeded to squat down like a dog and demonstrate!
It could have been a wonderful tour and we were very disappointed. If a person is going to work with the public he needs to be kind to all people and refrain from using degrading remarks.

Our representive from iTravel was waiting for us at our meeting point. The tour was a riding and walking tour. We got to see the beauty of the island and many of the small businesses. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and interesting and provided a wonderful tour. I usually prefer private tours but this small group tour was exceptional.

The price of the tour was kind of speedy. We shared a van with about 10 other people. We ended up seeing a lot of Mykonos, but I felt that we could have spent the money on a boat tour or something more enjoyable. It would be a good tour for those who are not as mobile.
