Take the 4 hour trip from Elounda. Did this last week, comfortable seats, very informative with an excellent guide and driver. The seats are very comfortable and they stop periodically to take in the spectacular views. I recommended this to other hotel guests and they...More

Second time on the happy train and we still had a great time. The guide was very good and informative. Lovely scenery and the stop at the local taverna was excellent. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed the trip and were delighted with the views, the commentary and the lunch on the way back. However, I was disappointed there was no information, prior to departing, to advise re the steps (1st stop) and walking we would be doing. I...More

We went on the 4 hour mountain trip. Stopping off at various places along the way. Lunch at a taverna in the mountains where we had the village salad, one of the best salads I've ever tasted. Well worth the trip

We spent 4 hours on this train, travelling high up in the mountains, to visit old villages and churches. We also stopped for some lunch in a small taverna. Great trip and well worth the 8 euros each that we paid.

Sorry, only just seen this, hope you had a good trip, we enjoyed it a lot, the lads who run the train were very flexible with pick ups and drop offs.
