Lovely place if you like old markets. Greece is one of the few countries in Europe that maintain both covered and open market places. This is a cross shaped building with a variety of shops, butchers, fish mongers, cafes, and restaurants. It is extremely hard...More

A lovely market selling local goods. The market is set out in the shape of a cross. At the front there is the bus stop -‘d the “new” town. If you go through and out the other side you enter the old town with the...More

While your in the port zone you can come visit this small market. It's a bit touristic but keeps all its charm. Worth the stop

Small but nice market with local products (mainly chees, olives and souvenirs). Easy to find, surronded by many small stalls.

Every time my family go to Chania, we make a point to visit this marketplace. The US doesn't have too many places like this, but you can find them all over in major cities in Europe. Regardless of what age she was (she is now...More

This is a shoppers delight. Small boutiques, souvenir shops and cafes line the narrow, pedestrian only streets of the old town of Chania. You can spend an entire afternoon browsing or if you are like me, following your spouse into almost every shop in town....More
