We stopped for a quick visit at St. Paul's on Sunday while walking to the Parliament building. Although a service had just begun, the greeter allowed us to enter the church and provided us an information sheet. We were surprised to find an Anglican Church...More

We visited the church in January and felt really welcome. The community is enthousiast to welcome you and to explain what they're doing. Furthermore you can participate and the conversations during the coffee break are interesting.

This is a lovely Anglican church, which is located near a busy street next to Syntagma square. The church has rather strange opening hours, and it's not always open during those hours, too. Still, a very refreshing church in the midst of the Greek-Orthodox ones...More

first is close to the Acropolis and some fifteen minutes' walking distance from the Areopagus, the place where St. Paul spoke with the Athenians of his day... we heard that has also pastoral care and cultural activities!

Full disclosure: I attended St Paul’s when I lived in Athens 1985-89, so I am obviously biased in its favor. I have been back to visit several times since, but had not been to the church for at least a decade when I visited on...More

Wow, it sounds great. What did you like about it? The polished pews, the aroma bringing Britain to mind! It's very English!
