Interesting little museum about the history of Athens, the University and the building itself. Literally in the shadow of the Acropolis, I was surprised that there weren't more visitors - most definitely worth the two Euro entry.

We were not able to go inside, but the outside did not disappoint us. So interesting looking at the fresco of this wonderful Museum of History. The portico is just amazing and so beautiful in color.

Although the fresco outside is OK, nothing very important, they wouldn't let us in at 2:30 in the Tuesday afternoon to visit inside.

Although there is much to see things Greek in museums around Europe, seeing things in situ makes for a good visit.

Just a stunning location right in the heart of Athens. Even from the outside, you cannot but take many photos

During my recent trip to Greece, I visited the Museum of the History of Athens University. A nice small museum in the old city of Athens, it is built with a lovely view of the city and worth a visit. Recommended.

Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains

squares, some notable museums and the beautiful
Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to
stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a
pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious
traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a
