THE MUSEUM CLOSED IN 2016. Former home and studio of the artist, the Museum "Atelier Spyros Vassiliou" is located a few steps from the Acropolis entrance. Spyros Vassiliou lived and worked from his home from 1957 until his death in 1985. He is one of the most proficient and prolific Greek artists of the 20th century. Spyros Vassiliou's house and studio closed its doors to the public on February 28th, 2016.

Someone in Technopolis recommended we head to the Spyros Vassiliou gallery and I am glad we made the trip. Hidden away down a residential street, the artists former house and studio has been turned into a museum by his family to celebrate one of Greece's...More
