This one is tricky, but I felt a bit disappointed. The staff and people working at the cable car were not that friendly and so they barely answered to our questions, although the lady from the souvenir shop was super nice. You get to the...More

What a stunning location. We walked from the Olympic stadium over to the Funicular and it was absolutely worth the steps. No where else in Athens will you get these views.

You can have a long (and steep) walk till the upper part of the hill. There is a path but you could also follow the street. The stadium on top is also super for concerts. If you have the possibility to listen to music there...More

Whilst you can walk to the top, the cable car (it’s more like a rail cart) at €7.50 return is worth it. Stunning 360 degree panorama of Athens... Usual tourist stuff at the top, but great photo opportunities of the acropolis etc

Definitely worth to climb up the hill. I was walking up to the top, not necessary to ave the funicular. The way up is really nice, not too exacting, the view is beautiful and there are banks, where you can sit down and just admire...More

Worth the visit as you get the most perfect view of Athens when you get to the top or even half way to the top. Not hard to go up on foot.

‫You can also get there with a cable car (if you are not going to drive there). Short ride from the street below. Many good places in Athens to have dinner. You just need to pick. ‬

I climbed with my mother and 8 year old. They both thought it was a tough climb especially in the heat of summer. They both complained on the way up. But did it and seemed fine at the end. It is doable with stops and... More

I’d recommend you take a cab from there that drops you in a huge parking lot where you can hike up the mountain.
