Astonishing ruins in the heart of Athens, definitely worth investigating. Be sure to buy the €30 bumper pack if you wish to access the other landmarks around the city, it works out much, much cheaper!

A visit to this site puts perspective into the complex set of architectural wonders you will find in Athens. Informational placards help you understand the many ruins within the compound.

Once we got off the Tram’s last stop and began to make our way to the Acropolis, we saw this temple and stopped for a look. There was no line, so it was a great location to buy the 6 site, 5-day pass for 30...More

No matter how many times you see Olympia on TV being there in person just blows you away and having a good guide brings life to the site. A must see for any traveller to Greece.

Only few columns remain standing, but you can guess its former glory. They are richly decorrated and from here you get a stunning view of the Acropolis.

Another humbling experience to be at such an ancient site. Not as stunning at Temple of Athena or Parthenon because of damage done but still amazing.

It's amazing to see such an old structure and think about what it must have been in it's day. Such historic charge.

A good sight to see when in Athens and looks beautiful when lit up at night! One of the pillars lies on the ground, it fell during a storm in 1852, and gives you a good idea of the vulnerability of this ancient site.

We spent a wonderful morning sitting in the shade looking at this absolutely magnificent structure. If you sit at the right angle you can see both the structure and the Acropolis in the distance which makes for a great photo opportunity as well. Most importantly...More
