If you are looking for a few standing columns and one that’s fallen over this place is for you but really not much here and I was not impressed.

Whilst not as impressive as other attractions in Athens it is still worth a quick visit. Easy access off of the hop on hop off bus

Unbelievable architecture. The temple must have been huge! I could take some very nice photos of the ruins, but couldn't find out much about the history from the signs. I was glad I took a guide book, it was much more informative.

An ancient ruin that has a very great history. My guide was really great at what she’s doing, the history’s very interesting.

There is very little of the temple still standing, but it is still impressive and worth a stop if you are walking around the area. It's not far from the Acropolis, so its easy to see. I'm glad I stopped to see it, mostly because...More

If you go with a guide and get the history it’s good. It has a commanding position. Some upward climbing but I’m almost 70 and I managed.

Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is
Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament
building on its upper side and surrounded by other
large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande
Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia
are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like
the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia
Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents,

Summer Hours: Daily: 08:00 - 19:30 You should goto The Acropolis first and purchase €30 ticket which gets you in there and many other sites over 4 day period including Temple Zeus.
