When in Porto this is a mandatory place by the waterfront. Several bars and restaurants to choose from and to seat enjoying the sun (if weather helps in Porto. We had better luck in Lisbon). Lively with music players. Good vibe.
It's not as expansive as the Vila de Gaia across the water but it's a great way to view the riverway and Vila de Gaia, or the colourful fishing boats while you stroll along. Or stop for a beer or some porto and watch the people go by...a nice way to while away a few hours.
It may look different to others, but for me, a crowds and city lover, this was one of the most memorable places in Porto. Lined with picturesque buildings and bustling with tourists, full of colours and life, this is where one can relax, and take in the sounds and views.
Lots of other like minded people there having a drink and watching the football on tv at one of the riverside bars
This is the promenade along the river front in Porto. away from the Square is lined with cafés, bars and restaurants and is busy during the good weather Unfortunately the weather was against us so we didn't linger too long in November, also do not be confused with a restaurant…
