Seeing this beautiful building affectionately also called the "Stock Exchange Palace" (As Rick Steves says, "It is neither a stock exchange nor a palace!") requires that one take a tour, and it is well worth the time and small price of the tour. There are...More

The Palacio was close to our apartment. We stopped by in the AM to see when the next tour was in English as they are all guided tours. We were greeted by Renalda at the ticket counter (sorry if I got her name spelled wrong)....More

This is one of those places where seniors like us get in half price (€5.50 each). We were disappointed to find when we arrived here that it was only possible to get in as part of a tour party, with the next English tour with...More

You must join a tour to visit which is definitely worth the few Euros required to enter. Good example of 19th century building expertise.

We were a bit disappointed bythe fact that you are obliged to book a guided tour and cannot walk around yourself. However, they offer nice student discounts and our English group was not too big. We enjoyed our tour from about 30 minutes.

Went here on a private tour and thought it was attractively designed. The Arabic room is over the top but amazing to see. There is a lot of Portuguese history to learn on this tour

You need a tour for this one but it’s worth it. Really interesting history and some big lovely surprises.

The place runs organized tours in several languages. We had an English tour, narrated by excellent Ms. Renata. You get to learn a bunch of stuff about Porto and Portugal as well, and Salao Araba at the end is truly breathtaking. Recommended!
