The palácio da bolsa is absolutely stunning and my favorite spot in Porto. The visits are guided in your language and cost 9 dollars per person. The whole building is amazing but the last stop of the tour is my favorite. I highly recommend visiting.

Booked online ahead (student discount ftw) but had to book onto one of the tours once there. It takes 40 minutes and the guide was fantastic - educational with a sense of humour. The palace itself is glorious, much too good to be a stock...More

We were told to come back in two days but were leaving town the following day. Quite a disappointment. I hope the City of Porto does not get into the habit of depriving visitors of one of its main attractions too often!

Advisable to book for your own language tour. Very popular. Steep flight of stairs to get to upper level. Lots of pictures , carvings, furniture, ineresting rooms and the main attraction is the "Gold Room". Beautiful.

Don't go by the exterior. This former stock exchange is absolutely gorgeous. Ornate ceilings, floors, chandeliers and furniture. Well worth the visit.

Locally, they call it the "stock exchange". and you immediately think of New York. Not so! It was the stock exchange in the 19th century, now a UNESCO heritage site. Basically a palace. Unassuming exterior, and magnificent inside. Exquisite tile work and marble and you...More
